RECRUITMENT OF Assistant for Logistics, Driving and Communication
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is Switzerland’s international development agency within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). SDC supports governmental and non-governmental actors in their aim to alleviate poverty, build peaceful and inclusive societies, and in becoming equal and empowered partners within the global community.
The Swiss Development Cooperation and Consular Office in Phnom Penh is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Assistant for Logistics, Driving and Communication to support its operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong professional competence, reliability, and a service-oriented approach, contributing to the efficient delivery of operational and logistical support within a multi-disciplinary and professional environment.
The main tasks assigned to the holder of this position (Cambodian national) are:
Provide reliable and safe driving services for staff, officials, and visitors
· Facilitate airport transfers and transport during field missions
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of office vehicles
Provide hands-on support for the communication team
· Operate and maintain audio-visual equipment
· Record and support video and audio production activities
· Maintain and organize photo and video archives
· Assist in the design of communication materials (e.g., leaflets, infographics)
Provide support to logistical processes of the office
· Support procurement processes, including obtaining quotations
· Assist with office maintenance and equipment management
· Support inventory tracking and asset management
· Serve as backup for Receptionist
Requirements:
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Fluently in both written and spoken English
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
· Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a proven record of excellent performance.
· A valid and appropriate driving license.
· In-depth knowledge of Cambodia's road network, particularly in Phnom Penh, and a strong sense of direction.
· Knowledge, experience and interest in handling photo and video equipment
· Knowledge and interest of design tools (e.g., Canva) or AI-supported software
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
· Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.
· Willingness to work beyond regular working hours (compensatory leave in accordance with Cambodian law).
· Minimum Education: Grade 12.
